IN-PERSON: Elders in the Garden: Roots, Routes, and Nurturing Community Futures

Event Date: June 5, 2-4pm EST

Event Location: Outdoors, Paul Robeson House & Museum, 4951 Walnut St.

In this outdoor event centered around the new installation of a storied garden at the Paul Robeson House & Museum, we host an intergenerational gathering and ceremony honoring the narratives, wisdom, and sacred intention that sustains the "wild and delicate beauty" of neighborhood life. This activity will be led in collaboration with poet/educator Raina J. León, Philadelphia Node Lead for Nomadic Press. Inspired by 2022 One Book Selection My Broken Language.

The Paul Robeson House & Museum is a project of the West Philadelphia Cultural Alliance. Learn more at paulrobesonhouse.org
