A reading list for sabbatical and work plan

For the projects that I have decided to take on, I need to read in a few different areas, including Black Feminism, revolutionary mothering, the lives of women, Critical Race Theory, Indigenous Studies, and some select volumes of poetry.  These are the books that I have with me or that should be arriving soon, should I ever get my boxes through Italian customs.

  1. Home Girls:  A Black Feminist Anthology
  2. Well-Read Black Girl:  Finding Our Stories, Discovering Ourselves
  3. Black Girl Magic
  4. A Burst of Light and Other Essays
  5. The M Archive
  6. Spill:  Scenes of Black Feminist Fugitivity
  7. Revolutionary Mothering:  Love on the Front Lines (re-read)
  8. Sister Outsider:  Essays and Speeches
  9. But Some of Us Are Brave:  Black Women's Studies
  10. Not That Bad:  Dispatches from Rape Culture (re-read)
  11. Letters to the Future:  Black Women/Radical Writing
  12. Black Nature:  Four Centuries of African American Nature Poetry
  13. Critical Race Theory anthology (re-read)
  14. Critical Indigenous Studies:  Engagements in First World Locations
  15. As We Have Always Done:  Indigenous Freedom through Radical Resistance
  16. Stereo.Island.Mosaic.
  17. Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude
  18. Of Gods & Strangers
I also need to do some reading about teachers of military dependents for a class I want to propose and I imagine that some other through lines will pop up along the way.  My thought is to also do some pulling of a few key quotes along the way here and some writing inspired by that.
