Homework: Day 3 of the Kevin Kumashiro workshop on teaching for social justice

In my last post, one of the last thoughts I had was around how I integrate my leadership responsibilities with my work as a teacher educator, scholar, artist, and community leader/organizer. It would seem that my beginning consideration was in line with the trajectory for the workshop.

For homework, we are supposed to think into/write into just that:  how do I integrate my leadership responsibilities with my work?  We are also supposed to answer the questions:  What is the story I want to tell through my leadership (this is all about vision for my program)?  What is the story I want to tell about my leadership (this is all about career advancement/promotion)?

The fact is that I don't have a full essay on this.  I've just spent the last hour crafting my agenda for the class I'm teaching, #LiveToWrite, in anticipation of our "Open Hour" tomorrow online from 12-1pm.

I'm hoping that I might have some thoughts on the matter in the morning.
